Well, I seem to have accidentally stumbled upon a photography job! A bunch of the kids at my center had portraits drawn of them and then their parents had the option of buying it for some outrageous price, so I offered to one of the Mom's that since money's tight I could do her portraits cheaper. From there, I've been getting jobs from the parents there and then a job at a daycare center. Soon hopefully I'll be getting jobs from the parents at the school where I intern. I learned a lesson the hard way from my daycare center job- I do NOT work with kids under 5. They are impossible!!!! Adorable, but not easily photographed unless its candid. If all goes well I'll be making some money for my cheap photoshoots! Monday I have a photoshoot scheduled with a mom who wants portraits of herself for a friend who hasn't seen her in years. I'm excited and nervous!
